Developing portable potassium ion concentration biosensors... realizing health and happiness for humanity

THEDONEE is accelerating R&D efforts to develop portable potassium ion concentration biosensors, ferroptosis-based anti-cancer drugs, and 3D cell spheroid-based drug evaluation platforms. Experts from various fields are actively securing investment, winning national research projects based on prior research, and conducting collaborative research by leveraging R&D networks.
The 3D cell spheroid-based drug evaluation platform kit is targeted for release in 2022, and the portable potassium ion concentration biosensor aims for a 2023 launch. Particularly, no such portable biosensor capable of continuously monitoring blood potassium ion concentration with a small blood sample anytime and anywhere has been released to date.
Kangwon Lee, CEO of THEDONEE, introduced, “To ensure a high degree of completion for rapid clinical entry, we are building a comprehensive library of anti-cancer drugs. Alongside this, our company is the first in the world to conduct R&D on anti-cancer drugs using the newly defined cell death mechanism 'ferroptosis' since 2012, and the products are nearing launch.”
